The Council is continuing with the process of adopting a new set of parks byelaws for Bristol. The 24 proposed byelaws focus on ensuring everyone can continue to use the city’s parks and green spaces responsibly, considerately and safely.
They will also give the council and its partners scope to tackle any problem behaviour that adversely affects the enjoyment and safe use of the city’s green spaces. Public consultation in 2013 showed 77% of respondents were in favour of revised byelaws, indicating that residents expect the council should actively manage use of, and control behaviours in, council-owned green spaces. go to consultation
