"Living Streets" has been campaigning for streets that put people first since 1929 when it was known as the Pedestrians Association. It recently commissioned a report by a multi-disciplinary team of experts from the health, economic, social and environmental matters. This talk will summarise the report and place it in the context of Living Street's activities and in Bristol. Tony Dyer is the local representative for Living Streets as well as an active green campaigner and blogger on local political and environmental matters. Kiron Chatterjee is a Senior Lecturer in Transport Planning at the University of the West of England and one of the authors of the report. Members £2 (voluntary). Non-members £4.
