Richard Leonard, organiser of the anti-Costa campaign says: 'WE WON'!

At the meeting of the planning committee on September 7th, the councillors voted 8 -1 to reject the Costa application.
 
Thanks to all of you who signed the petition both on-line and on paper.  We had in excess of 3400 signatures.
 
I've no doubt that Costa will appeal but today the wishes of local people have made a difference.
