Sustainable Bishopston -AGM talk:'Who feeds Bristol?'

E-mail Print

Ian Baker, the Secretary of the local green group, 'Sustainable Bishopston' has sent us the following reminder:

Sustainable Bishopston's AGM is at St Michael's Church Hall at 8.00pm on Wednesday, October 5th.  Dr Angela Raffle, a Bristol-based public health doctor, will talk on 'Who feeds Bristol?'.

Angela will make use of the written report in 2011 commissioned by NHS Bristol and Bristol City Council.
The report seeks to rebuild a food culture for Bristol in relation to its residents and suppliers, being mindful of sustainable limits. The full report and appendices are available at www.bristol.gov.uk/whofeedsbristol
Angela supports enthusiastically Sustainable Redland and Transition City Bristol and contributes to Bristol's Green Capital Momentum Group.
It will be a stimulating presentation. Do come.

A short AGM will precede Angela's talk. Please note the change of venue from St. Bonaventures to St Michael's Church Hall at 8.00pm on Wed. 5 October.

BW, Ian Baker, Hon Sec.
