gloucsroadconservationarea Bristol Heritage Forum Annual Conference examines the history of how Bristol's Conservation areas were so designated. This full day conference is on October 27th, 9.00 - 17.00. Tickets are £15 (students free).

The first conservation area in Bristol was designated in 1970. The city now has 33 designated conservation areas covering about 1/3 of the city.One of the most recently designated areas is the extension of the Gloucester Road Conservation area.
