Will the Bishopston Society protest about ice cream vans sitting at the park entrance for extended periods running their diesel engines? The sight of children queuing for ice cream, surrounded by a cloud of diesel fumes, is horrible.

The traders have had the direct involvement - criticism before and after the vote by outsiders has been pointless. The BID - despite claims - was never democratic. The area covered was deliberately trimmed down before the original vote, disenfranchising parts of the Gloucester Road which had previously been included in the planning.
