I took Mum for a spin today around St Andrews park in her chair, which she enjoyed very much. A good number of people there, almost all well-behaved. Except, again, for joggers. Two solo joggers doing circuits around the park, so intent on their course that they took little notice of others. I saw one run between two mums pushing prams and carefully keeping two metres apart: so he passed within a metre of each of them and their babies. Each of the joggers passed within a metre of Mum and me: both wearing headphones, so I was obliged to shout at them. One of them passed us later, leaving a proper distance and raising a hand to us. At least she got the message: I hope she keeps it in mind.

Independent bookshop Topping in Bath is able to send out books as is our local Max Minerva. Give your money to independents and not Amazon !
