...plans for a large development at the cricket ground were refused.  The Gloucester Road featured heavily, with news on the Costa Coffee campaign, and an update on licensing in the Cumulative Impact Area.

Summer 2012 was at last under way on the Bristol North Baths site.  The cricket ground application had been approved, and Sainsburys had applied to develop the Memorial Ground.  On a smaller scale, the Golden Hill Community Garden had opened.

...the Gloucester Road had been designated a Cumulative Impact Area, which would transform the approach of the licensing authorities  -  or would it?  Sainsburys made another approach to the Gloucester Road.  And a new primary school was planned next to the cricket ground.

...the Neighbourhood Partnerships were making their presence felt, and Howzat? was generating enormous support for their concerns about the cricket ground development.  And during the long winter months, anyone could organise a street party!
